A Couple of Luxury – Port and Cigars
Elegance. Pearls and Lace. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. Port and Cigars. Do you know that cigars have tasting notes? Did it ever occur to you to try the art of pairing a cigar with a port?
On both Saturday and Sunday, we will feature Texas-made Ports and Cigars in our popular Port and Cigar pairing seminar. Picking out the right libation to go with a cigar can be challenging in its own right and is also a double edge sword. If you have the wrong combination, the best cigar may taste horrible (or no taste at all) and your fine Port may taste like you wished you spent .25 a ounce instead of $25. NOTE: This seminar has a fee (see pricing above). Tickets may only be purchased with Adult Passes when ordering online. Seating is limited and will most likely sell out prior to the festival. Tickets are not guaranteed to be available at the gate on Saturday.
Headliner Adult Passes - new!
Beginning at 8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, Headliner Adult Passes will be available at the gate.
This is a discounted pass for those that prefer to only come out at night, see the day's headliner band, and have some good wine or beer.
Passes include adult admission starting at 8PM, two glasses of wine at the Vintners Quarters, or two glasses of beer from the Brewer's Garden. Wine sampling is not included.
$25 per adult / $40 per couple

AW&MF Friday Night 'Vintners Dinner' & Live Auction Ticket Prices
Benefiting Operation Finally Home – May 27th, 2011 at 6:30 pm
This "must attend" Vintners' Dinner is the Austin Wine & Music Festival's way of saying THANK YOU to the men and women who serve our country and is in honor of Operation Finally Home. Arrive to a fabulous Red Carpet greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and appetizers to enjoy while you stroll about silent auction items listening to multi-Grammy nominated artists, Joe Pasada. Your Emcee for the night, All My Children star and Iraq war veteran JR Martinez will be there to welcome you to your tables.
The elaborate 5-course dinner prepared by some of the finest chefs will be expertly paired with an AW&MF Member Winery. The chefs will create a gourmet meal comprised of fresh, primarily Texas State grown and produced ingredients in a hearty meal that will be sure not to disappoint.
In addition to the regular seating, there are 6 "Sit with the Vintner" tickets available per Member Winery. Enjoy the ability to learn about your favorite winery from those who know it best, the winery owner and winemaker. Intermingled with the 5 course meal will be a Live Auction showcasing 10 destination packages including 6 packages from your local AW&MF Member Winery.
It will be a night that will forever touch your hearts and what could be a more fitting way to kick off your Memorial Day weekend celebrations than with a dinner benefiting Operation Finally Home.

Purchase General Admission Tickets
Alcohol consumption without an adult wristband is prohibited on Festival grounds
While you may not have any alcohol without an Adult Wristband (included with an Adult Pass or All Access Pass), you may be able to "upgrade" a General Admission ticket to an Adult Pass at the font gate by paying the difference between the online General Admission price and the gate Adult Pass price. Upgrade availability based on attendance and an ID will be required.
How the Wine Sampler Adult Wristband's work:
How does it work? During the Festival, bring your printed ticket to the Front Gate, and you will receive a Austin Wine & Music Festival Wine Glass and a Wine Sampler wristband with 12 removable tabs.
- One tab equals one 1-ounce taste of any wine from any of our participating wineries
- Five tabs equal a 5-ounce glass of wine from any of our participating wineries, or 8-ounces of beer from the Brewer's Garden
Once your tabs are used, your wristband is still valid for general Festival admission during the day of your visit for music, seminars and other activities. Do NOT remove your wristband while in attendance at the Festival as that is how staff and police can recognize those participants who are 21 or over.
Additional wine tastes are $1/each, and wine or beer by the glass is $5.00 each. Only CASH is accepted at the winery tents. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the front gate, AW&MF Market Place, Brewers Garden & Vintner's Quarters. Several ATMs will be available on site.
2-day Adult wristbands include one 12-tab wristband on each of the two days, but only include ONE wine glass on your first day. The wine glass will need to be brought back on Day Two. If you do not bring your wine glass, one can be purchased at the AW&MF Market Place. No other type of glassware will be allowed on Festival grounds.
Ticket Delivery Method and Admission Rules
- Tickets are provided in a printable format upon successful checkout.
- You must be able to print your tickets from your web browser prior to the event.
- Each ticket must be presented at the gate for admission and may only be used once for each day they are valid.
- Wristbands must be retained for subsequent festival entry on the same day.
- Valid ID required at festival entry for anyone with an adult pass or wristband.
- Alcohol consumption by anyone without an adult wristband is prohibited.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Tickets are non-refundable and the AWMF cannot be responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
- Other than documented guide/aid dogs, NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.
- All schedules and lineups are subject to change and any changes will be posted on the AWMF website.
- Tickets are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. If any act of God (including but not limited to natural disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornados, and fires or human events, such as wars, riots, or other major upheavals) forces an early closure or a delay in opening so as to ensure the safety of all customers, Austin Wine and Music Festival staff, volunteers, etc., the Austin Wine and Music Festival will post ticket use arrangements online.
