Bill Elsey

Bill Elsey serves as the Director of Sales for Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood, TX. For the past 5 years Bill has worked in the Texas Wine Industry in almost all capacities, from production assistant and cellar hand, to hosting guests in the tasting room, as well as coordinating winery events.

Currently he oversees all aspects of sales at the Duchman Family Winery. Bill has achieved the title Certified Sommelier through the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as the credentials of Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators. Currently pursuing his Certified Specialist of Spirits, Certified Wine Educator and Advanced Sommelier certificates, he is a strong advocate for the Texas Wine Industry.

As for his thoughts on the wines from Texas "Texas is on the verge of becoming a well recognized wine region, wine drinkers need to be open minded and exposed to all that we have to offer in the ways of Texas Wine".
